Smellerbee headed into the woods to find Longshot. He had been gone for hours and it normally didn’t take him this long to find dinner. She leaped from tree till tree until she reached an open field. There she saw him, picking flowers. How strange, she thought.
She sneaked up to him from behind and caught him completely off guard when she asked: “What are you doing?” He stammered: “I..I..uhm…” Amused by his reaction, she playfully put a finger on his nose, grinned and said: “Tell me..are you picking these flowers for me?” When his face turned red, she knew enough…
